Version 1.6.: The best-in-class video model, plus four upgrades to the production stack around it.

The video at the top of this post was generated with Seedance 2.0, inside a single D&G v1.6 workflow. One image, one prompt, one node. No external tool, no post-production round-trip.

It is not the only thing that shipped this week. Below the Seedance section, you will find four upgrades to the production stack around it: brand-aligned workflow generation, Google Docs Writer with native HTML and multi-tab support, a new node for Google search result counts, and Word Counter expanded into Text Metrics.

Here is the full release.

Seedance 2.0 in the Image-to-Video node

Seedance 2.0 is now available in the Image-to-Video node. It is the best-in-class video model and the most powerful model currently on the market for cinematic video generation.

What this enables for marketing teams using D&G:

  • Stunning, cinematic product videos, generated from a still image and a prompt
  • UGC-style content at scale, generated inside a workflow rather than a separate too
  • Creative projects at a new level of quality, produced as a node in your existing orchestration

This is video as a workflow node, with the same orchestration, traceability, and integration logic as every other node in D&G.

For existing customers: any image-to-video workflow you have already built can now leverage Seedance 2.0. Regenerate an existing video asset and compare the output.

Workflow Generator now reads your brandkit

The Workflow Generator received a substantial set of improvements in this release. The headline change: it now leverages your brandkits to produce workflows aligned with your brand identity.

In practice, this means:

  • A workflow you generate to produce content reflects your brand identity automatically
  • You stop adjusting brand consistency manually on each generated workflow

The release also brings smarter generation, better context understanding, and more reliable outputs across the board. We fixed a saving issue that occurred after workflow generation. Your creations are now safely persisted every time.

Google Docs Writer upgrades

The Google Docs Writer node received two major upgrades:

  • HTML interpretation: the node automatically transforms your HTML content into properly formatted Google Docs. Headings, lists, tables, links, and styles are all preserved.
  • Multi-tab documents: create and organize content across multiple tabs within a single document. Useful for structured reports and multi-section deliverables.
New node, Google Search Result Count

A new node that counts the total number of Google search results for any query in a single step. Useful for SEO workflows, keyword research, trend analysis, and competitive intelligence.

Word Counter expanded into Text Metrics

The Word Counter node became a full Text Metrics node. It now returns:

  • Word count
  • Character count (with and without spaces)
  • Sentence count
  • Token count

Ideal for content audits, LLM prompt sizing, SEO optimization, and editorial workflows.

Refreshed documentation portal

Updated and expanded documentation is now available at https://docs.dng.ai/. Clearer guides, updated node references, and fresh examples to help you get the most out of the platform.

Also in v1.6
  • Google Search node: removed the “number of results” parameter, as it is no longer supported by Google
  • General stability improvements and fixes across the platform
How to start using v1.6

For existing customers:

  • v1.6 is live in your environment now. No action required to access.
  • In the Image-to-Video node, try Seedance 2.0 on an existing workflow.
  • If your brandkit is configured, regenerate a workflow to see brand-aligned output. If not, configure your brandkit to take advantage of this release.
